Kermi therm-X2 technology, patented since 2005, significantly increases energy efficiency level compared to other panel radiators. The principle of therm-X2 is the sequential passage of the coolant through the radiator panels.
The coolant from the pipeline first enters the front panel and, having completely passed through it, then enters the rear panel.
the principle of coolant flow with X2 technology
In part-load mode, the rear panel of the radiator acts as a "heat reflector": the radiator does not heat the wall, but increases the heat radiation from the front panel into the room. When the need for radiator capacity increases, this principle also contributes to faster room heating due to high convection performance.
X2 technology reduces heating time by up to 25%: sequential flow shortens the heating cycle, operating time and accelerates valve closing
Compared to traditional steel panel radiators, the radiation intensity of Kermi radiators is increased:
• in devices of types 12 and 22 – by 1.5 times;
• in devices of type 33 – by 2 times.
In combination with high-quality valve fittings, energy savings reach up to 11% per season. This reduces the number of customer claims and complaints about the operation of the heat supply system.
Modern heat sources such as heat pumps or condensing boilers operate at lower supply temperatures and are extremely energy efficient. The patented therm-X2 technology is optimally suited to this principle and has a long-term positive effect on the efficiency of the heating system.
Most Kermi radiators are painted in classic Kermi white color (RAL 9016). But there is a large color palette of Kermi therm-X2 radiators to choose from. They can also be painted in any RAL CLASSIC color.
Production facilities of steel radiators are located in Germany. High standards in terms of material quality, welding and surface treatment, as well as the unique therm-x2 technology, make Kermi radiators the standard of heating equipment of the future.
